Staying at Hale Pohaku is like spending your Kauai vacation in your own private tropical vacation village resort.
Within our half-acre Poipu Beach village are four separate homes: two are fully restored two bedroom/one bath historic Kauai plantation cottages; a third larger cottage built to match the other two; and the 5 bedroom/3 bath Manager's Home, one of the earliest homes built in Poipu back in 1954. Our vacation village is just a minute's walk from the pristine white sandy beaches of Poipu. You'll be lulled to sleep every night by the waves, and awaken every morning to the gentle sea breezes. Our south shore beach village homes are perfect for a kauai honeymoon, group retreat, family vacation or a tropical beach destination wedding on Kauai.
With a private swimming pool just for our guests, lush tropical landscaping and large grassy yard, the Poipu cottages and Manager's Home can be rented either individually, for groups of 2 - 12, or all together, accommodating up to 28 people. There is no better place to stay when visiting Kauai's south shore at Poipu Beach.

Each home is designed to give you the ultimate in home-away-from-home comfort. The kitchens all include full-sized appliances - including dishwashers - plus just about every small appliance we can think of. Each house also has its own washer and dryer. We've also got free WiFi.

Our four units are as follows:
The Manager's Home - a fully renovated 5 bedroom/3 bath plantation home built in 1954 (maximum capacity 12)
The Jungle Cottage - a fully restored plantation cottage built in the 1940s, featuring 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, maximum capacity 6
The Orchid Cottage - also a fully restored plantation cottage from the 1940s, 2 bedrooms/1 bath, maximum capacity 6
The Beach Rose Cottage - built ten years ago, this cottage also features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, providing accommodations for 6 people.
